SOCIAL PROGRAM
We would like to invite all interested people to participate at the following social events.
Monday 24 September 2007 Welcoming cocktail will be held in Viterbo Governmental Palace. The meeting will be in the late afternoon leaving the opportunity to visit the town in the evening. Cost: free Tuesday 25 September 2007 In the Congress site, on the evening of the 25th of Sept., all the participants and accompanying person will have the opportunity to taste some of the most typical products of the Tuscia Region. Some of those products are famous and appreciated worldwide. A concert will be arranged at the S. Martino al Cimino Abbey. The performance will be part of the “Barocco Festival 2007” which is appreciated every year in the Tuscia Region (for further information: http://www.primitaly.it/eventi/festival_barocco.htm). Cost: free Wednesday 26 September 2007 International Soccer Competition: we are organizing a football match (or eventually a small tournament depending on the inscriptions) to raise fund for one more Young Scientist Award dedicated to “Paola Ippoliti”. We are sure that the most athletic of you will take part of this initiative. Supporters are also invited to watch the match for a funny evening at a very low cost (3€ p.p.)!!! Cost: 10 € per player Thursday 27 September 2007 ![]() The social dinner will be held at the “La Quercia” Conference Centre. The dinner will include a gastronomic journey through Italian and Tuscia typical dishes and refined Italian wines. Cost: 25 € p.p. Friday 28 September 2007 ![]() A pleasant and relaxing trip will be arranged on the last congress day. In the late afternoon a barbecue at Parco dei Cimini Restaurant will be organised to celebrate the end of the 7ISFP. Cost: free Saturday 29 September 2007 ![]() ![]() The after congress daily tour will be on the wonderful Elba Island. Elba is one of the most beautiful islands of the Tuscan Archipelago. There will be the possibility to visit the famous Napoleon Tomb with many other exciting beauties of the Islands. “A legend told that Elba Island had its beginnings from a neck-lace which slipped from the neck of Venus, goddess of beauty and love, and fell into the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea.” Cost: to be defined |
