FULL DAY AFTER CONGRESS TOUR
(at Elba Island)

ISFP VII proposes a multidisciplinary approach to discuss advances and prospects of the fish parasitological research over the world.

The scientific Program of the ISFP VII will include Plenary Lectures, Parallel Sessions with specific Topics (please see list below), Poster sessions, and Workshops.

Plenary Lectures: (45 minutes in length): they will cover a variety of Topical Issues in Fish Parasitology.

Parallel Sessions: will include presentations on a specific Topic (some of them are already defined and listed below). They are organised by two conveners and they will be scheduled for a minimum of 2 hours in length. Each Session will comprise: two invited keynote speeches (30 minutes in length each, including discussion), and free communications (15 minutes in length each, including discussion). A provisional list of Topics are listed below. Suggestions for other topics are welcome until MARCH 1st, 2007

Poster sessions: Posters will be discussed during the “Poster Session” and can remain up for the entire duration of the meeting. Size and procedures for posters preparation will be available soon.  Poster presenters will have the opportunity (with the agreement of the Author) to run a very short power point presentation (5 minutes) on the day of poster discussion.

Workshops: The aim of each workshop will be a discussion forum on a specific subject.  Suggestions for workshops are welcome until MARCH, 1st , 2007.

All the sessions and workshops are open for the submission of free communications and/or posters.
